Sen. Barack Obama is certainly having an edge over his republican rival Sen. John McCain, in the presidential race, in the state of Michigan — that’s what the September’s Obama McCain Michigan pre-election opinion polls show.

Strategic Vision's Obama vs McCain MI poll, conducted from Sep 5 to Sep 7, showed Obama leading McCain by 1% — 45% to 44% among the registered voters of Michigan.
Public Policy Polling's Obama vs McCain MI poll, conducted from Sep 6 to Sep 7, showed Obama leading McCain by 1% — 47% to 46% among the registered voters of Michigan.
Time/CNN's Obama vs McCain MI poll, conducted from Sep 7 to Sep 9, showed Obama leading McCain by 3 % points — 45% to 42% among the registered voters of Michigan.
InAdv/PollPosition's McCain vs Obama MI poll, conducted on Sep 10, showed McCain leading Obama by 1 % — 45% to 44% among the registered voters of Michigan.
