New Mexico Polls: Obama Retakes Lead Over McCain

The recent pre-election ‘Obama McCain New Mexico Opinion Polls’ show that Barack Obama has retaken lead over his Republican rival John McCain in the presidential race in the Land of Enchantment.
Obama leads two out of three pre-election opinion polls conducted in New Mexico in the current month; only one poll favors McCain. New Mexico has long been favoring Democrats. The state has 5 Electoral College votes.
Here’s what the recent McCain Obama New Mexico Opinion Polls say —
Mason Dixon’s McCain Obama NM Opinion Poll, conducted from August 13 to August 15, showed McCain leading Obama by 4 % points — 45 % to 41 % among the registered voters of New Mexico.
Zogby Interactive’s Obama McCain NM Opinion Poll, conducted from August 15 to August 19, showed Obama retaking lead over McCain. The poll showed Obama leading McCain by 9 % points — 46 % to 37 % among the registered voters of New Mexico.
Rasmussen Reports’ Obama McCain NM Opinion Poll, conducted on August 20, showed Obama leading McCain by 4 % points — 48 % to 44 % among the registered voters of New Mexico. According to the poll, Obama currently has 62.9 % chance of winning New Mexico’s Five Electoral College votes this fall.
