Nintendo Plans To Launch "Wii Music" Along With Other New GamesNintendo is planning to launch a new game named "Wii Music" for its famous Wii console this year. "Wii Music" will let players simulate more than 60 different instruments.

"Wii Music" uses controller and the balance board to play more than 50 instruments and you can record your performance also. But it does not rate your performance or allow you to compete with other players.

Wii's MotionPlus controller add-on will also be launched next spring with a new suite of Wii sports games from the comany.

Nintendo is also planning to launch a Wii Fit balance board and "Wii Speak" this year. "Wii Speak" is a group of microphones that works with its Wii game console and can be used for online games.

The launch of the much-hyped game called "Animal Crossing: City Folk" is also on the cards before the holiday shopping season. This game lets players serve as caretakers of a virtual world that continue to function even when the game is not played.

Nintendo's miniature console, DS, will get a version of Take Two's "Grand Theft Auto" this winter - "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars." The company has already sold about 70 million DS units in the fiscal year through March 2008 and plans to sell 100 million units by the end of the fiscal year.
