Obama Campaign Accuses Mccain Of Lies

Obama Campaign Accuses Mccain Of Lies The spate of incriminations continues as Obama’s campaign now accuses McCain of distorting Barack Obama's record in a series of campaign ads.
A new ad released today by the Obama campaign asks, "What's happened to John McCain? He's running the sleaziest ads ever."

This ad released by Obama banks mainly on acerbic media criticism of John McCain's ads, coming mostly from liberal sources such as Time columnist Joe Klein, Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne, Washington Monthly blogger Steve Benen and the New Republic.

McCain tried to placate the situation by saying today that Obama didn't call Palin a pig, but at the same time he defended the ad released by his campaign.
Obama "chooses his words very carefully," McCain told reporters today in Florida.

"He's very eloquent," McCain said. "It was the wrong thing to say."

The Democrats launched a new Web site called "Count the Lies", today, alleging McCain to have made 51 false claims that have been found to be false by independent groups like FactCheck.org and mainstream news media organizations.
