'The Odyssey' To Be Recreated By Warner Brothers And Brad PittWarner Bros and Brad Pitt are all set to collaborate with George Miller to adapt Homer's epic poem THE ODYSSEY to the big screen.

The twist in the tale being that futuristic film will be set in space.

Brad Pitt has already worked with Homer in 2004’s “Troy”, another WB product, which adapted “The Iliad.”

THE ODYSSEY is a tale of the adventures of Odysseus, the brain behind the idea of the Trojan Horse, as takes up the years-long journey back home to Ithaca after the descend of Troy.

The poem is reckoned to have been written towards the end of the eighth century B.C., and has contributed as a vital source for a number of works which have been derived from it.

Brad Pitt seems to be multitasking with panache these days at his films, including winter release “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”, and also at home as he dons the job of a responsible and caring father to the new additions to his growing family with Angelina Jolie, twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.
