John McCain is currently having big lead over Barack Obama in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Mississippi, and Montana — that’s what say the September’s Obama vs McCain polls conducted in these states.
Alabama has 9 Electoral College votes. Capital Survey Research Center/Alabama Education Association’s McCain vs Obama AL poll, conducted from September 3 to September 9, showed McCain leading Obama by 20 % points— 55 % to 35 % among the registered voters of Alabama.
Alaska has 3 Electoral College votes. Rasmussen Reports’ Obama vs McCain AK Poll, conducted on September 9, showed McCain leading Obama by 31 % points— 64 % to 33 % among the registered voters of Alaska. The poll currently gives Republicans a 96.0 % chance of winning Alaska’s three Electoral College votes in November.
Idaho has 4 Electoral College votes. Rasmussen Reports’ McCain vs Obama ID Poll, conducted on September 9, showed McCain leading Obama by 39 % points— 68 % to 29 % among the registered voters of Idaho. The poll currently gives McCain a 99.9 % chance of winning Idaho’s four Electoral College votes in Nov.
