The Centennial State is turning out to be a real swing state, where the presidential race in really swinging between Barack Obama and John McCain. The recent Obama McCain Colorado pre-election opinion polls show that McCain has taken lead over Obama.

Colorado has 9 Electoral College votes. Out of three Obama McCain Polls conducted in the state, only one favors Obama.

Rasmussen Reports’ McCain Obama CO Poll, conducted on 13 Aug, showed McCain leading Obama by 1 % point — 49 % to 48 % among the registered voters of Colorado.

Rocky Mtn News/CBS4’s McCain Obama CO Poll, from Aug 11 to Aug 13, showed McCain leading Obama by 3 % point — 44 % to 41 % among the registered voters of Colorado.
