John McCain has well maintained his lead over Barack Obama, in the presidential race, in Indiana. McCain’s lead is apparently noticeable in the recent Obama vs McCain Indiana polls.

Rasmussen Reports’ latest McCain vs Obama Indiana poll shows McCain having respectable lead over Obama.

 Conducted on October 7, the Rasmussen Reports’ poll shows McCain leading Obama by 7 % points — 50 % to 43 % among the likely voters of Indiana.

According to the poll, McCain is currently given a 56.2  % chance of winning Indiana’s 11 Electoral College votes this fall.
