 San Francisco police website falls prey to hackersWashington, Aug 18 : Hackers have reportedly attacked San Francisco Police websites, and posted personal information of the officers online.

Hacking group Anonymous gained access to the website of the union that represents Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police and posted personal information on more than 100 officers, Fox News reports.

The hackers leaked the officers' home and email addresses and passwords.

BART Police Deputy Chief Daniel Hartwig said his office had been made aware of the breach and referred inquiries to the BART Police Officers Association.

Anonymous announced the most recent breach on Twitter and published the address of the website where the information could be found, the report said. (ANI)
