Sep’s Latest Polls: McCain Overtakes Obama Nationally

Sen. John McCain is certainly enjoying his recent surge nationally. Well, McCain has not only cut Barack Obama’s lead, but he has overtaken Obama in the presidential race — that’s what the latest Obama McCain polls say.
Out of the four latest McCain vs Obama polls, McCain leads Obama in 3 polls; they are statistically tied in one poll. These polls were conducted by Zogby International, USA Today/Gallup, CNN, and ABC News/Washington Post. Check out what these latest McCain Obama polls show.
Zogby International’s Obama vs McCain poll, conducted from September 5 to September 6, showed McCain leading Obama by 3 % points — 49 % to 46 % among the national registered voters. This was the first poll to show McCain’s lead over Obama in the current month.
USA Today/Gallup’s McCain vs Obama poll, conducted from September 5 to September 7, showed McCain leading Obama by 4 % points — 50 % to 46 % among the registered voters nationally.
CNN’s McCain vs Obama poll, conducted from September 5 to September 7, showed McCain and Obama statistically tied. The poll showed McCain and Obama enjoying the support of 48 % registered voters respectively.
ABC News/Washington Post’s Obama vs McCain poll, conducted from September 5 to September 7, showed McCain leading Obama by 2 % points — 49 % to 47 % among the registered voters nationally.
