Gallup Daily Tracking McCain vs Obama poll, conducted from September 6 to September 8, showed McCain leading Obama by 5 % points — 49 % to 44 % among the registered voters nationally.

American Research Group’s Obama vs McCain poll, conducted from September 6 to September 8, showed Obama leading McCain by 1 % point — 47 % to 46 % among the registered voters nationally.
