Sep's Latest Polls: Obama’s Lead Over McCain Slides

It appears from the recent nationwide Obama McCain polls that Sen. Barack Obama’s lead over Sen. John McCain, in the presidential race, is sliding. Obama’s lead over McCain has come down to 3 to 2 % points, in the recent polls released by YouGov-Economist, Rasmussen Reports Tracking, Gallup Daily Tracking.
YouGov-Economist Obama vs McCain poll, conducted from September 1 to September 3, showed Obama leading McCain by 3 % points— 42 % to 39 % among the registered voters nationally.
Rasmussen Reports Tracking Obama vs McCain poll, conducted from September 3 to September 5, showed Obama leading McCain by 3 % points— 49 % to 46 % among the registered voters nationally. According to the poll, Obama currently has a 57.4 % chance of winning the presidential election in November.
Gallup Daily Tracking Obama McCain poll, conducted from September 1 to September 3, showed Obama leading McCain by 2 % points— 47 % to 45 % among the registered voters nationally.
