Los Angeles: Jessica Simpson, who was hospitalized in Los Angeles for a kidney infection, is feeling much better now, reported her representative Lauren Auslander.

According to Auslander, the 27-year-old singer-actress, Simpson felt fever and she was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday for a "minor kidney infection". She was released on Monday.  

Auslander said, Simpson "has been released and is doing fine".  

Simpson toured to Iraq to perform for the troops earlier this month. She is currently working on a country music album.
