It appears that Montana voters favor the GOP. According to the recent McCain vs Obama Montana Polls, John McCain has imposing lead over Barack Obama, in the presidential race, in Montana.

John McCain is currently having big lead over Barack Obama in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Mississippi, and Montana — that’s what say the September’s Obama vs McCain polls conducted in these states.
Alabama has 9 Electoral College votes. Capital Survey Research Center/Alabama Education Association’s McCain vs Obama AL poll, conducted from September 3 to September 9, showed McCain leading Obama by 20 % points— 55 % to 35 % among the registered voters of Alabama.
