Obama’s job approval rating drops to new low of 40 percent: Poll

Princeton, July 30 : US President Barack Obama's job approval rating has hit a new low of 40 percent, a new poll has found.
According to Gallup Daily Tracking Poll poll, it is a sharp slide from his 50 percent approval rating earlier this month.
Obama's previous low was 41 percent, which he hit most recently in April.
"The inability of US lawmakers to agree on the debt ceiling has apparently shaken Americans' confidence in the economy and now seems to be taking its toll on the president''s public support, with Obama''s approval rating at a new low," the New York Post quoted Gallup, as saying.

He adds: "Many jobs are created in the US due to Indian companies investing in America."
Sixty-year-old Prasad, an alumnus of Hindu College, New Delhi, was appointed deputy mayor of Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, a month ago. Prasad is working as assistant vice president at Mahindra Satyam BPO Ltd for the Life Sciences markets.
‘Hudson River Miracle’ plane being auctioned off
Submitted by Jamie Williamson on Fri, 01/22/2010 - 08:28New Jersey, Jan 22 : The Airbus A320 last flown by Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the plane that famously landed safely on the Hudson River after a flock of birds disabled its engines is up for auction.
The ‘miracle'' plane gained worldwide fame after the pilot saved all 155 people on board by deftly bringing the craft down onto the frigid river in January 15, 2009.
The aircraft, which now is severely water-damaged, has two missing engines and cannot fly, is being auctioned by Chartis Insurance, a subsidiary of insurance giant AIG.
“Aircraft suffered severe bird strike event resulting in water emergency landing,” The New York Post quoted a notice from the insurance company.

Bisphenol A Ban In Manufacturing Baby Bottles and Containers

The FDA guidelines do not state BPA as harmful for infants. But it has received severe criticism for its decision from the Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.

Dentist Charged with Dumping Medical Waste on Jersey Beach

A Pennsylvania dentist has been charged by the New Jersey authorities for unlawfully dumping medical waste at a popular beach area, which led to the closure of the beach during peak vacation time. Attorney General Anne Milgram said at a news conference that on Aug. 22, Thomas McFarland, 59, took his motorboat to Townsend Inlet near Avalon and dumped a bag full of some 300 dental-type needles, along with 180 cotton swabs and other materials from his Wynnewood, Pa., medical office.

South Jersey Beach Reopens After Medical Waste Cleaned Up

Stretch of South Jersey beach was reopened for beachgoers which was closed when lifeguards found used needles strewn around. Lifeguards noticed dozens of used hypodermic needles, 8 inch long cotton swabs typically used by medical facilities, pill casings and other medical waste strewn around on Avalon beach on Saturday morning as they headed out for duty.
