SurveyUSA Obama McCain Poll Says McCain Leads Obama By 6 % Points In FloridaSen. John McCain defeated the Democratic Presidential campaigner, Barack Obama in a recent poll conducted in an election in critical swing-state Florida, which has 27 Electoral College votes.

SurveyUSA poll pre-election poll conducted from 1 Aug to 3 Aug, exclusively for WFLA-TV Tampa and WKRG-TV Pensacola, showed John McCain leading Obama by 6 % points – 50% to 44% among the registered voters of Florida.

SurveyUSA Obama McCain Florida Poll also showed that Obama was leading in Southeastern Florida by 9 points, where he took 52% of the vote; McCain took 52% of the vote in Central Florida, 53% in Southwestern Florida, 55% in the northeastern Florida, and 59% in Northwestern Florida.

The poll found that Obama was leading by 5 points among voters younger than him, while McCain was leading by 13 points among voters older than him. It also revealed that McCain was leading by 19 points among white voters, while Obama was leading among black voters by 68 points.

SurveyUSA McCain Obama Florida Poll results were based on interviews of 900 Florida adults from 1 Aug to 3 Aug. Of them, 830 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 679 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely voters in the 11/04/08 general election.
