Barack Obama, who in the recent times appears to be playing the role of a crusading Greek warrior; He Comes, He Sees, and He Conquers! Vermont is the next in line.

Vermont, the state more loyal to the Democratic Party, was strongly endorsing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for Democratic presidential nomination till Dec. 2007.

The American Research Group's Poll conducted on 2/6/2006 showed Hillary Clinton leading with 34 %. Again, the American Research Group’s Poll conducted on 02-04-07 revealed that Hillary Clinton was ahead of Barack Obama with 37% to 19%. John Edwards was a close third with 14%.

However, the latest poll by the American Research Group conducted on 20-21 Feb. has revealed that the situation has stunningly changed.

The Poll has clearly shown the former first lady losing the Green Mountain State, Vermont as well to the Illinois Senator in the wake of his superbly surging Momentum. The poll with MoE (Margin of Error) 3.9% has showed that Barack Obama is currently leading Hillary Clinton with 60% to 34%. Showing Obama in 26 point lead over Clinton, the poll indicates the huge win for Obama.

Going on poll on March 4, Vermont has 23 Democratic Delegates and 17 Republican Delegates at stake, but Obama’s huge win, as predicted by the latest American Research Group poll, is certainly going to hurt Clinton, who is presently lagging behind in the race for democratic delegates with 1,262 to Obama’s  1,351 delegates; not including the 7 yet to be rewarded based on the global primary of Democrats living abroad that Sen. Obama won Thursday.
