What Do The Recent Polls Say About Obama, McCain?

The Democratic White House nominee, Barack Obama leads the Republican rival, John McCain nationally – say the polls released after the race for the Democratic nomination ended on Tuesday.
The CNN/Opinion Research poll released on Friday (6 June) shows Obama leading McCain by 3% points – 49% to 46% among the registered voters nationwide. The poll has 3% margin of error. The poll is based on interviews of 921 registered voters, on June 4-5.
The Gallup Poll released on Friday (6 June) shows Obama leading McCain by 1% point – 46% to 45% among the registered voters nationwide. The poll is based on based on Gallup Poll Daily tracking from June 1-5.
Rasmussen Reports Tracking Poll released on Saturday (7 June) shows Obama leading McCain by 3% points – 48% to 45% among the registered voters nationwide. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll is based upon interviews with 1,000 likely voters each night and reported on a three-day rolling average basis.
