Clinton-Obama Marathon next moves to the Keystone State, Pennsylvania, which will go for Democratic Polls on 22 April, 2008. Total 188 Democratic delegates in Pennsylvania are at stake. There are 158 democratic delegates up for grabs in Pennsylvania on 22 April. So, PA is going to witness big and decisive battle between Clinton and Obama in April. Here’s what the recent polls in Pennsylvania say.

Franklin & Marshall College/Philadelphia Daily News/WGAL TV, et al, Keystone Poll, conducted from 8-14 Jan in Pennsylvania showed that Hillary Clinton was leading Barack Obama with 40% to 20% democratic vote in Jan. 2008. Indicating huge win for Clinton, the poll – with MoE = 5.7% – showed Clinton leading Obama by 20% points in Jan. 2008.

Quinnipiac University conducted its Pennsylvania poll from 6-12 Feb. The Quinnipiac University’s Pennsylvania poll showed that Hillary Clinton was leading with 52% democratic vote while Barack Obama had 36%. Again, the poll indicated Clinton’s massive win. With MoE = 2.6%, the Quinnipiac University poll showed Clinton leading Obama by 16% points in Feb.

Morning Call/Muhlennerg College Poll, conducted from 9-17 Feb. in Pennsylvania showed that was leading with 45% democratic vote where Barack Obama had 31%. With MoE = 2.6%, the poll showed Clinton 14% points ahead Obama in Feb. The poll signaled comprehensive win for Clinton.

Conducted from 13-18 Feb. in Pennsylvania, Franklin Marshall College Poll exhibited Hillary Clinton (44%) leading Barack Obama (32%) by 12% democratic vote. With MoE = 5.6%, the indicated impressive win for Clinton.

However, Quinnipiac University Pennsylvania poll, conducted from 21-25 Feb., indicated a shrink in Clinton’s lead. It showed Hillary Clinton enjoying 49% democratic vote, while Barack Obama had 43%. The poll – with MoE = 4.4% – shrunk Clinton’s lead to just 6% points.

Furthermore, Rasmussen Reports conducted Pennsylvania poll on 26 Feb. It showed Hillary Clinton with 46% democratic vote and Barack Obama with 42%. With MoE = 3.4%, the poll further shrunk Clinton’s lead to mere 4% points. It’s important to note here that this poll was conducted last month when Obama was enjoying fantastic string of consecutive victories.

However, Rasmussen Reports’ Pennsylvania poll, conducted on 5 March has shown Hillary Clinton with 52% democratic vote and Barack Obama with 37%. With MoE = 3.7%, the recent Rasmussen Reports’ Pennsylvania poll has shown Clinton leading Obama by 15% points. The poll indicates comprehensive win for Clinton.
