Clinton’s supporters, in particular, are anxious for Edwards to speak up about whom they support. Obama, who has had a significant lead in the polls here for months, is hoping to edge out Clinton thru Edwards Endorsement.

There is a lot of “dead reckoning” going on over Edwards Endorsement. Alina Szmant, a professor at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, “People talk about it all the time. The rumor on the street is that he’s holding out for a V.P. position.” Some even reckon that Edwardses would make a joint endorsement.
