An orthopaedic surgeon was sued by a woman in New Jersey for putting a tattoo below her panty line. Elizabeth Mateo was shocked to see the temporary tattoo of a red rose after her surgery for herniated disc.
Her attorney Gregg A. Shivers told that she filled a lawsuit against surgeon Steven Kirshner for putting the unwanted tattoo.
Surgeon Kirshner’s lawyer Robert Agre said that the doctor had put the tattoo to raise the spirits of the patient. The tattoo was not made with any intention of harming the patient. Moreover the tattoo is not permanent. The doctor has done this with other patients to heal their spirits and for the better recovery of the patient.
