London, Sept 23 : Pregnant R&B queen Beyonce Knowles has refused to take a break from her work before she gives birth to her first child as she does not want her pregnancy to turn out "like an illness".

Beyonce, 30, who is married to rapper Jay-Z had had announced that she was expecting and revealed her baby bump at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

The former Destiny's Child member has continued to work despite her pregnancy, promoting her clothing line and perfume, and said that she has no plans to rest as yet.

"When you are excited about something, you don't have to think about your energy. It is natural and comes from adrenaline. It is important that I don't look at this as like an illness. I am not sick. I am the same woman and I have the same passions," the Daily Star quoted her as saying. (ANI)
