Zachary Quinto’s fingers were glued to get ‘Star Trek’ salute rightNew York, May 8: Hollywood actor Zachary Quinto, who will be seen as Spock in the forthcoming `Star Trek' flick, could not get Spock's ''live long and prosper'' Vulcan salute right, as he was unable to stick his fingers together.

Quinto, who plays Spock in the new `Star Trek' film, "couldn''t train his fingers to do the ''live long and prosper'' Vulcan salute, which left the director with no option but to tie his finger with rubber, reports the New York Post.

A source has revealed that when even tying Quinto's fingers together did not work, fed-up director J. J. Abrams "glued Zachary''s fingers together during filming."

Prior to Quinto, Leonard Nimoy portrayed Spock in the `Star Trek' series. (ANI)
