It has been learned that the iconic model that is inspired from the lineage of Morris Oxford series II (Landmaster) and series III (Ambassador) is all set to undergo one of the most ambitious changes that has been made to the product in the past years.

In fact, with the heart as well as cosmetic surgery lined up for the product, it is believed that it will provide the much-needed boost to the diminishing popularity of the product in the Indian market.

While Hindustan Motors is planning to keep producing the old model for the Taxi segment in the company, the company expects the new avatar to become the bread-earner for the company in 3-5 years.

The Chairman of the company, C. K. Birla recently said that the product will have retro design and sport cutting-edge engineering to compete on comfort and value for money. It is believed that while the product will be a sibling to the old model but it will look like a completely new model.
