Arvind Bhat Crashes Out Of The Tata OpenThe defending champion, Arvind Bhat has knocked out of the Tata Open after losing his match against Andhra qualifier K Tanishaq at CCI in Mumbai on Friday.

Bhat, the second seeded, has been defeated by Tanishaq in straight sets by 19-21, 16-21 in the first round match which lasted for 40 minutes.

Bhat was looking off color throughout the match as he produced a flurry of unforced errors to give free points to Tanishaq.

Bhat on this defeat said that he was not active throughout the match and Tanishaq has been a tricky player who won the big points at right time.

Tanishaq said that he was not having any game plan for the match and he was positive thorough out the match, which helped him to gain free points.

Tanishaq has qualified to quarterfinals after defeating Karnataka's Mohit Kamat by 21-19, 21-19 later in the day while the top seeded Chetan Anand also stormed into the quarterfinals after defeating Karnataka's Mohit Kamat by 21-15, 21-13.
