Particularly targeting the luxury buses segment, managing director of Ashok Leyland Mr. Seshasayee commented that the segment seems to provide huge opportunities and the company seems to be very well positioned on the cash fronts to enter into this segment. This announcement was made at the inaugural function Irizar-TVS Ltd. which is a 3 way joint venture between the company from Spain, Irizar, TVS sons and Ashok Leyland. All the companies will have a equal shareholding.

They have decided to make buses by collaborating with different builders across the country and no specific integration is there. They are just focusing on getting the quality right along with ensuing that they keep the brand equity in tact.
