Bajaj Management - Union To Assemble Once Again Next Week
Mumbai: After both sides failed to make any decision on Saturday, Bajaj Auto’s administration and its labor union have decided to assemble again next week to talk about closure of the company's Akurdi plant.
Sharad Pawar, Union Agriculture Minister and Ganesh Naik, Maharashtra Labour Minister also attended the conference.
Mr. Naik stated that Pawar had recommended that Bajaj pay six days’ wages to the workers against the five-and-a-half days a week presently.
"The Bajaj management would have to pay the salaries to workers till the end of their services," Naik said.
Nearly 2,730 workers are getting salaries for five-and-a-half days a week.
