Bobby Jindal tells 2016 hopefuls to ''get their heads examined''

Bobby-JindalWashington, Feb 5 : GOP Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has said in an interview that any Republicans thinking about 2016 need to "get their head examined", while cautioning against "nonstop" presidential campaigning.

Jindal said that anybody on the Republican side, even thinking or talking about running for president in 2016, should get their head examined as they have lost two presidential elections in a row.

He said they should first win the debate of ideas and then think about winning elections, reports Politico.

Jindal, often mentioned as a 2016 contender, said last month in a speech at the Republican National Committee''s meeting in Charlotte that the GOP needed to "stop being the stupid party".

He reiterated those sentiments during the Fox News interview and said that Republicans need to rethink how they''re talking to Americans.

Jindal said on Fox News that a majority of American voters think that the government is trying to do too much. They want smaller government yet they still voted for President Obama, he added. (ANI)
