Bosnia exhumes bodies of war victims from a ravine Sarajevo - Bosnian forensic experts discovered the remains of 15 victims of the 1990s civil war in a mass grave in Mount Vlasic in central Bosnia, news reports said.

The bodies were found at the Koricanske Stijene site, some 100 kilometres north-west of Sarajevo.

Some 200 Muslims from the north-western Bosnian city of Prijedor were brought to the site in 1992 and killed by a force of Bosnian Serb police, and their bodies thrown down a 200-metre-deep ravine.

"Five years ago at the site nearby we found the remains of 41 victims," Amor Masovic from the Institute for Missing Persons said.

He added that the exhumation of the 15 newly discovered victims is expected to last another 10 days.
