Sarajevo  - Around 100 Bosnian journalists on Wednesday protested in front of parliament in Sarajevo against an attack by one of its members on a television journalist.

MP Sadih Bahtic last week attacked the journalist from the state- run Bosnian Federation Television, kicking him out of a press conference. The incident was captured on film but Bahtic denied the incident, saying he was the victim of TV editing.

"Journalists have to protect their dignity, and politicians have to understand that they cannot behave like that," Eldin Karic, editor-in-chief of the weekly Start and protest organizer, said.

The journalists called on the Bosnian parliament to condemn the Bahtic's behaviour. (dpa)
