Buy Tata Power With Target Of Rs 1328Technical analyst Salil Sharma has maintained 'buy' rating on Tata Power Company Limited with a target of Rs 1328.

According to analyst, the investors can buy the stock with a stop loss of Rs 1295.

Today, the stock of the company opened at Rs 1319.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 1518.55 and a low of Rs 1211.70 on BSE.

Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 37.89 and 34.89 respectively.

Tata Power Company Ltd is eyeing to have a 25% of its power generation or approximately 8,000 MW from clean sources by the next seven years (2017) and will make an investment of around Rs 5,000 crore in wind-energy alone.

Tata Power's executive director-strategy & business development, Banmali Agrawala, said, "We have set ourselves a target to achieve 25 per cent of our total generation from clean sources by 2017. These will comprise wind, solar, hydro, geo-thermal and gas. In wind-power alone, we will be investing around Rs 5,000 crore."

Ratan Tata-led company has recorded a growth of 82.89% in its consolidated net profit, which stood at Rs 6,725.4 million for the three month period ended Sep 2010 as against Rs 3,677.3 million for the same period of 2009.

Company's consolidated net sales grew by 5.19% to Rs 47,978.4 million for the period under review as compared to Rs 45,611.7 million for the same period of last year.
