Award winning Sri Lankan director Vimukthi Jayasundara has roped in Sudip Mukherjee to replace his previous choice Chandan Roy Sanyal for his upcoming Bengali film ‘Mushrooms’. Accompanying Sudip Mukherjee as part of the star cast of ‘Mushrooms’ are Bengali actors Paoli Dam and Anubrata. A source close to the film’s unit has reported that while Paoli and Anubrata will begin work for ‘Mushrooms’ from the 24th, Sudip Mukherjee will join his co-stars on the 28th of November.

The major attraction of ‘Mushrooms’ will, however, be Hollywood actor Darwin Shaw. He has been roped in to play the role of a Spanish soldier. The shooting of the film will be done in Kolkata.
