New Delhi, March 31 - It was a sunny morning in the capital Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 17 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of year. The weather office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"A clear day lies ahead for the capital. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Humidity at 8.30 a. m. was 67 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 29.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled three notches below average at 15.4 degrees Celsius. (IANS)
