CM moved by Prince Dance group show, govt to set up instituteMoved by the outstanding feat of a dance group from Orissa at a competition organized by a TV channel, chief minister Naveen Patnaik announced to set up an institute to sharpen the talent of young performers in the state.

It is learnt that the state government would provide four acres of land near Berhampur, and provide a sum of Rs 1 crore for the setting up of the institute.

A release from the CMO said that the culture department has been directed to start working on this.

Patnaik also accepted to the request of an artiste to SMS his vote to Prince Dance group, which has entered the finale in a reality show titled ''India's got talent'' telecast on Colors channel.

The Prince Dance Group was formed by 26-year-old Krishna Reddy with the help of others in Berhampur in Orissa. Most of the members are from the weaker section of the society.

The Chief Minister also wished the Prince Dance group from Berhampur success in the finale.

The grand finale of the reality show will be held on August 22 on Colours TV from 9 PM onwards.
