As Bitcoin faces resistance in $82,000 range, stocks linked to cryptocurrency sector faced selling pressure.

Coinbase Global stock opened the trading session at $316.90 and touched an intraday high at $326.3. The stock was trading around $315 levels at the market close.

Markets turned bearish on cryptocurrency related stocks on Monday with Coinbase Global, Robinhood Markets, Marathon Holdings and MicroStrategy Incorporated facing selling pressure.

Coinbase Global gained 2 percent as cryptocurrencies witnessed a recovery after a highly volatile session on Monday. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana faced massive selling pressure at higher levels.

Coinbase and Marathon Digital Holdings stocks were trading with impressive gains on Columbus Day as Nasdaq was trading nearly 1.2 percent higher.

Marathon Digital Holdings Stock has firmed up along with other cryptocurrency related stocks as BTC and other cryptocurrencies have been firm over the last few trading sessions.
