Date set for christening of Danish princeCopenhagen  - Danish Queen Margrethe II's fifth grandchild is to be christened July 26, the palace said Friday.

The baby boy born on May 4 was to be christend in the Mogeltonder church where Prince Joachim and his French-born wife, Princess Marie, 32, were married a year ago.

The church is some 800 years old and is close to Schakenborg Manor in southern Jutland where Prince Joachim, 39, runs an estate.

The boy is Joachim's third son. He has two from his first marriage with Hong Kong-born Alexandra Manley who he divorced in 2005.

Joachim is the younger of the queen's two sons. First in line to the throne is Crown Prince Frederik, 41, who has two children - Prince Christian and Princess Isabella - with his Australian-born wife, Princess Mary.

On June 7, Denmark is to stage a referendum on the order of succession to the throne.(dpa)
