Davies accused of committing Homicide without Premeditation

Davies accused of committing Homicide without PremeditationThe niece of British Defense Minister Quentin Davies, Jessica Davies faced the murder trial in France on Monday accused of killing her lover during a frenzied sex game. The accused is alleged believed to have slashed the throat of a man she grabbed from a pub.

The accused, Jessica Davies, 30, is a former model, and has been accused of killing Olivier Mugnier, 24, while under full influence of alcohol and anti-depressant drugs.

The news came to light when police responded to a call from Davies claiming that there was a man drenched with blood in her home, in the affluent Paris suburb of Saint-Germain-en-Laye on November 2007.

It is speculated that the model can face up to 30 years imprisonment if found guilty of the crime. Many reports have revealed that Davies was under the influence of the student's death in Perugia, for which Amanda Knox and Raffaelle Sollecito were last month found guilty.

French police claimed that the accused said that she completely lost out because of a blackout at the time of the incident.

The law has charged her for voluntary homicide without premeditation.
