Delhi Daredevils led by Gautam Gambhir has won their second consecutive match in the Indian Premier League (IPL-3) after defeating Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets in Ahmadabad on Monday.

Delhi won the toss and elected to field first. Rajasthan scored 141 runs for loss of six wickets in 20 overs. A Jhunjhunwala was the top scorer for Rajasthan who scored unbeaten 53 runs while P Dogra contributed 29 runs with the bat.

M Maharoof, D Nannes, A Mishra and P Sangwan took one wicket each for Delhi.

Chasing the target of 142 runs, Delhi got to a blistering start as Virender Sehwag smashed Rajasthan bowlers all over the park. Sehwag smashed 75 runs in just 34 balls including 5 huge sixes. Delhi chased the target successfully in just 17.1 overs with five wickets to spare.

A Mascarenhas took two wickets while M Patel and S Warne picked up one wicket each for Rajasthan. Sehwag was declared man of the match.
