Dena Bank scraps processing fees for home and auto loansPrivate sector bank, Dena Bank has announced that it has removing a processing fee on housing and car loans for its customers.

The bank said that it has waived off the entire processing fees on for housing and car loans and half of the processing fee for personal and gold loans for borrowers. The bank said in a statement that the offer is valid until 31 December, 2012.

The bank said that it is waiving off half of the processing fee for its Dena Trade Finance Scheme. The scheme offers credit facilities of up to Rs 2 crore to eligible borrowers. The bank is also offering a scheme for doctors with credit facilities up to Rs 2 crore for the purpose of setting up clinic and purchasing medical equipment.

"The bank has has also extended 50 percent concession in processing fee for its Dena Trade Finance Scheme under which credit facilities up to Rs 2 crore are extended within the eligibility criteria of the scheme and Dena Doctor Plus scheme under which credit facilities up to Rs 2 crore are extended to doctors within the eligibility criteria of the scheme for setting up clinic and purchasing medical equipments," a bank said in a media release.

During the Diwali festive seasons, a host of banks in the country had announced special offers in order to boost business. The season saw several new offers on loans for the borrowers in the country and the banks are against gearing to attract customers this winter season with attractive interest rate schemes and lower fees.
