The Medical Council has shared that accused doctors which forged certificates were from Dharamsila Cancer Hospital, Jeevan Hospital, Sunderlal Jain Hospital, Max Balaji Hospital and Batra Hospital, among some others.

While talking about the case of a city doctor, who was recently arrested for being a "fake", Registrar of the Delhi Medical Council admitted that last year, the group had managed to discover nearly a dozen cases of doctors carrying out practices under false certificates in some of Delhi's most renowned hospitals.

In the aforementioned case, co-owner of Dr. Munjal's Clinic and Maternity Centre at Shastri Nagar, north Delhi, Dr. Darshan Kaur was reportedly practicing under a fake certificate.

The quack was exposed by the DMC on August 19, 2009, and a case of forgery and cheating was registered against Dr. Kaur by the Delhi Police in September.
