Dr. Fox wants UK troops to return from Afghanistan as soon as possible
British Defence Secretary Dr. Liam Fox wants the British troops present in Afghanistan to return home. He is now with the International Development Secretary Mr. Andrew Mitchell and Foreign Secretary Mr. William Hague, on a tour to Kabul.
He has also added that the process of training for the Afghanistan National forces should be accelerated.
The British ministers are in Kabul to discuss about the military and political leaders in Afghanistan.
In a separate interview in Kabul three other officials have made it very clear that there is not any plan to change in the UK policy over Afghanistan. The scarification of the UK troops in Afghanistan is remarkable but it's the time to leave them on their hand.
Dr. Fox has also said that they are there to examine whether the Afghan Troops are well enough to manage their own security by 2014. Even US officials have agreed with this fact and they also want to leave Afghanistan soon.
He has said that UK troops could not act as a global police in Afghanistan as most of the people of Afghanistan think the US and UK troops as their enemies and Taliban as their friend.
