Gerona, Spain  - A 16-year-old Dutch student was killed and around 20 other people injured Monday when the bus in which they were travelling overturned on a steep curve, officials said.

The accident occurred in Bascara, near Gerona, in eastern Spain.

Most of the injured victims were students. A total of 60 Dutch students and a few teachers were travelling on the double-decker bus, which was taking them for a holiday on the Costa Brava.(dpa)
