Edserv expects govt. orders upto Rs 100 cr

S GiridharanOn Wednesday a top official disclosed that Education services provider Edserv Soft systems Ltd guesses government orders worth Rs 80 crore to Rs 100 crore in FY11 on the back of an increased power to set up skill up gradation and extension institutes.

Chairman and chief executive officer, S Giridharan said that this financial order pipeline should be a minimum of Rs 80-100 crores from the government side; it will be double of that subsequently year. In an interview he declared this. Last year the company was dealing professional training provider status by the government.

On Wednesday it had won a five-year training contract from the Gujarat government to complex three skill extension and up gradation centre.

Giridharan assumed that it was diving for deals to set up Industrial Training Institutes across the country. He said that in the subsequent 4-5 years they are looking to pitch in for 10 states to set up ITIs. They are looking at proceeds of 30-40 crores for every state.

The improved government on these projects is likely to spend more than triple the company's revenue in the current economic.
