Federer feeling `Zen on court` again following BNP Paribas Open win

Roger FedererJohannesburg, Mar 12 - Four-time Indian Wells champion Roger Federer has said that he feels like he has regained his 'Zen' on the court after beating Russian player Dmitry Tursunov in straight sets at the BNP Paribas Open, which is the first ATP Masters of the year.

Although the 17-time Major winner did not show a dominant performance, however it was evident that he has regained his confidence with a strong start to 2014 after a disappointing - by his standards - 2013 campaign.

According to Sport24, Federer, who beat Tursunov 7-6 (9/7), 7-6 (7/2), said that he feels like he is an good place and has regained his Zen on the court, adding that he is aware of what his 'solid level' is and managed to stay calm the entire match.

Federer arrived in California on the heels of a victory in Dubai, which was his first title in nine months, and backed up a solid semi-final showing at the Australian Open , the report added. (ANI)
