Five valuable paintings have been stolen from museum in Paris

Five valuable paintings have been stolen from museum in ParisFrench officials have informed that five paintings by Picasso, Matisse and other great artists were stolen from The Modern Art museum in Paris. The estimated cost of those paintings is $123 million. As per the official reports, the paintings were most probably stolen yesterday morning or at Wednesday night.

Officials have said that the activity was very well planned. The museum near to the Eiffel Tower has been sealed by the investigators after this issue.

The CCTV camera footage has shown a man entering into the museum through the window at the night. The deputy culture secretary Mr. Girard has told this as a serious crime against heritage of humanity at the Paris town hall. He has also added this was committed by one or more people who were well organized.

The investigators are now worried about the fault of the guards and security systems of the museum.

The five stolen paintings are Pastoral by Henry Matisse of 1906, Woman with fan by Modigliani of 1919, Olive tree by Braque of 1906, Still life with candlestick by Leger of 1922 and Dove by Picasso of 1911.
