Free Burmese leader to follow the path of ahimsa Aung San Suu Kyi, the pro democracy leader of Burma who was freed from house arrest last week after a tenure of 15 years gas said that she will go for peaceful revolution.

While talking to BBC from her headquarters she confidently said that democracy will be restored in the country someday. But, she is not aware as to how much long the whole process will take. She also added that her freedom has given her an opportunity to speak and discuss with the ruling generals.

She was released 6 days after the country saw its first proper elections in the last 2 decades. And even though her party won last time with overwhelming opportunity, she was not allowed to come to power.

The polls which was the military-backed party, the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), coming back to power was rejected point blank by the West.

Meanwhile, during her interview, Aung San Suu Kyi said that she was not subjected to any kind of restrictions during her freedom period. She is a noble laureate and won her peace award during her detention period.
