Galaxy Note III to feature 6.0-inch displayAccording to some reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note III, which is expected to be launched in the coming months, will come with a 6.0-inch display.

Media reports indicate that the phablet will feature a 6.0 inch screen and is expected to release in the second quarter of 2013. A report suggests that Samsung has started production of the display in a new line at the company's display production unit. Samsung's Display unit is planning to produce flexible AMOLED panels but the capacity is not likely to meet the requirement for flagship device like the Galaxy Note III.

The newer model is expected to be thinner than Galaxy Note II and come with an RGB stripe and tis display will weigh much lesser than that of the current models. According to media reports in Korean media that cited Samsung suppliers, the company might be planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note III in the US market on AT&T soon. Some people suggest that the device is most likely to be launched at IFA 2013, which is scheduled to be organised form 6 to 11 September in Berlin in Germany.

Samsung is also likely to use LCD screens made by Sharp for its Galaxy Note III and the Exynos 5 Octa processor is likely to power the new phablet. Galaxy Note II was announced at the same event in the previous year. The Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch screen and it is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The model is lighter and thinner than the original version, which looked at filling the gap between smartphones and tablets.
