Abu Dhabi (UAE), Apr. 30 : Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, who has 310 wickets at 30.81 from 76 Tests and an equal number of wickets in one-day internationals, is hoping to convince selectors of his fitness ahead of the selection of touring parties for both the World Twenty20 and the Ashes.

After this series, he will fly back to South Africa for the final week of the Indian Premier League, where he has been training with the Kings XI Punjab.

Mumbai, Apr. 28 : India will get the lion’s share of the 2011 World Cup matches, given the unstable and precarious security and political situation in the three other host countries – Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Addressing a press conference here, International Cricket Council (ICC) CEO Haroon Lorgat said that India will host 29 matches in eight venues, Sri Lanka would host 12 matches in three venues and Bnagladesh would host eight matches in two venues, adding that in all, 49 matches would be played at 13 venues in three countries.

After watching his Chennai Super Kings teammate smash 57 of 27 balls against the Delhi Daredevils last night, Muralitharan said: "It's a joy to watch him bat like that. He is a dangerous batsman. Hayden is batting like God here."

The Chennai Super Kings' off-spinner said he was confident that his team could win when Hayden was at the crease, The Age reported.
