New Delhi, Nov 27 : Mariah Carey is reportedly in talks to have her life story turned into a Broadway musical.

The singer is said to have been approached by a top theatre producer about the idea, reports China Daily.

"A huge, huge Broadway producer is interested in Mariah''s story and it''s in discussions. Who would turn down an opportunity like that? Mariah has a fascinating life," a source said.

The pop superstar''s personal life has been a heavy fixture in the media, with everything from her divorce from Sony boss Tommy Mottola in 1997, arguments with record producers and her reported physical and emotional breakdown.

The ‘Material Girl’, who has never been snapped with the sport favourite, was allegedly seen leaving the jet first, followed by A–Rod who was said to be on the look out for photographers before joining the singer in the car.

Stars sign up for AIDS charity magazine

Los Angeles  - Many of the biggest stars in music are donating their names and talent to a new format digital magazine aimed at helping fight the spread of AIDS in Africa, it was announced Wednesday.

The idea of RED(WIRE) is an offshoot of the activist organization RED founded by U2 frontman Bono last year and all proceeds will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa.

Subscriptions to the magazine will cost 5 dollars annually. For this users will receive a new issue every Wednesday, featuring an exclusive song from a major musician, a song from a new performer and a multimedia presentation about how the organization is helping Africans in need.

The flick topped the poll after Teachers TV received nearly 2,500 votes from teachers, students and pupils on over 100 movies to compile a list of the top ten school-based films.
