Lahore, Oct 31 : Shahryar Mohammad Khan, the former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, has cautioned the ICC against overturning the result of the controversial England-Pakistan Test at The Oval in 2006, now a draw, back to a forfeit.
“The ICC will only make fun of itself and it will leave them in a very awkward position,” Shahryar told media on Thursday.
The PCB is currently awaiting the ICC’s reaction to the MCC’s recommendation that the result of the Oval Test be reversed and awarded to England, the Daily Times reported.

Hamburg - Germany captain Michael Ballack and coach Joachim Loew have met to resolve a row amid media speculation on Friday on its outcome.
The German football federation (DFB) announced statements on the meeting, which took place on Thursday at the DFB headquarters in Frankfurt, for later Friday.
Chelsea's Ballack, 32, had criticised Loew last week in a newspaper interview, mainly for benching fellow-midfielder Torsten Frings at two World Cup qualifiers. Ballack said that Loew did not show enough respect for long-time Germany players.
New Delhi, Oct 31 : Indian opener Gautam Gambhir was banned for one Test match after he was found guilty of elbowing Australia all-rounder Shane Watson during the ongoing third Test in Delhi.
International Cricket Council (ICC) match referee Chris Broad today charged Gambhir with a level-two offence of not conducting play "within the spirit of the game as well as within the laws of cricket".
Meanwhile, the BCCI is going to appeal to ICC to relax the punishment on Gambhir.

Match referee Chris Broad charged Gambhir with a level-two offence of not conducting play “within the spirit of the game as well as within the laws of cricket” after a dust-up with Watson during which he raised his elbow into the all-rounder’s chest, a reflex the batsman later claimed was an accident.
Watson was charged with a level-one offence under the same section of the players’ code of conduct for not playing within the spirit of the game, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
